    What you did here is called panini in Spain, or at least it was when I was a teenager :P

    It looks delicious! And Bega tasty cheese. I love that and it is actually quite expensive here in Oz. Easy to cook, and easy to clean. Also you can easily however big or small a portion you wish. Best of all, no splattering of oil around.

    In Oz, if you put less toppings on it and say leave it as just cheese on top only, that would be what you call a “toastie”. Maybe this is also an American term. I’m generally not a fan of French bread – mainly because the kinds I’ve eaten like baguettes have been a bit too hard for my liking. Thin crust and base pizza is my preference. Then again, with a thin crust and base pizza there is more chance of it tearing apart and dripping all over :D
